Harassment Statement

Delight Supported Living Ltd takes harassment of any kind to our staff, by our staff or by third parties very seriously and we take the following steps to prevent this.

 

  • ·         Have a clear and regularly updated Harassment policy in place that distinguishes between the different forms of harassment.

  • ·         Have a Zero-tolerance workplace culture in relation to harassment of any kind which our management supports.

  • ·         Provide mandatory training for our care staff on harassment, this includes what amounts to harassment, expected standards in the workplace and how to raise a complaint.

  • ·         Provide additional separate training for managers on how to deal with a harassment complaint.

  • ·         Have a risk assessment in place that covers harassment.

  • ·         Encourage the reporting of any harassment and different methods to report this (including to different managers if needed).

  • ·         All harassment complaints will be investigated at all levels.

  • ·         Conduct regular and anonymous staff surveys to ascertain the extent of any problem or potential problem.

  • ·         Take effective measures to help minimise the risk of harassment by third parties.

  • ·         Monitoring the progress of all harassment complaints or formal employee grievances to ensure that they are properly investigated and resolved, that the perpetrators are dealt with appropriately, to identify particular risk areas and ensure effective measures are in place.

  • ·         Monitoring the outcomes for employees who make complaints or are witnesses to harassment to ensure that no victimisation takes place.
